Why, yes, of course this blog is still alive. I’m just very, very busy. Life, you know.
So, while I’m waiting for my Torchwood 10th Anniversary repeat viewing (happy birthday, you!), I’m writing my very long and probably very emotional rant (?) about Gilmore Girls, which I just finished watching. Spoilers ahead, obviously.
It’s been way too long since my last blog post. Tomorrow is the first of April and the start of NaPoWriMo and I still haven’t made up my mind whether I will participate or not. I’ve got a lot of work on my desk, but maybe I’ll get bored? Who knows… Expect nothing and you might just be surprised!
Anyway, in the meantime here’s another review, of the Netflix/Fuji TV drama Atelier (or as it is known in Japan, Underwear), my first Japanese drama in a long, long time – and a pleasant surprise at that! (minor SPOILERS included)
Well, hello, yes, this blog is still active. Let’s just say there was a pile of paid work that I had to work through first.
In the meantime, I had time to watch all the DVDs I got for Christmas (and the many things that were on my Netflix list), so I now have lots of material for reviews. An no, I haven’t forgotten about Eliot the cat, he’s on my list of “stuff that needs to be finished”. Also, NaPoWriMo is around the corner, so this blog might get a bit busier in the coming weeks. Or not, looking at my work schedule…
So without further ado, here’s the SPOILER-filled review of the final season of Downton Abbey including a lot of speculation about what might happen to the characters afterwards (warning: not too optimistic).
There, I said it. So this is the promised review and some people probably won’t like it (or me), so if you’re one of them you can skip this post (or this blog). And of course the following paragraphs will be full of SPOILERS for the entire series. You’ve been warned.
It’s Wednesday, folks! The week is almost over! (do you have Friday off as well?)
Today’s prompt: a review poem. Which is awesome, because as you know I write a lot of reviews and I’ve been wanting to write something about the second series of A Young Doctor’s Notebook. But writing something meaningful about four episodes is tricky, if you remember my review of the first series.
A Young Doctor’s Audience
Jon and Daniel
What a pair
Dancing a waltz
Where’s my gif
Blood and gore
Sex and drugs
Love and sorrow
You smoke too much
Or maybe you were ill
Never mind, I grin
PS: This format is kinda fun, maybe I’ll use it more often for series where I don’t really have anything meaningful to say… Although the one about Daredevil would probably read “Charlie / Charlie / Charlie / CHARLIE!” *cough*
Have I kept you waiting? Yes, I did, and I’m sorry. Forgot that I had to work. So without any further ado, here are my SPOILER filled thoughts on series 5 of Downton Abbey – including the Christmas special.
According to WordPress, today is my one year anniversary. Wow. So let’s all celebrate with another review – that is still not Downton Abbey. Sorry. Still waiting for the Christmas special DVD, so hopefully the review will come next week. In the meantime, enjoy the horror (?) and beware of all the SPOILERS!
Hello again! Yes, I said there was a Downton Abbey review coming – but stupid me forgot about her working schedule, so that review has been postponed to the first week of February. Next week I’ll probably post another part of the Fitch story (this is getting bigger than I thought…). And today, here’s my review of Orphan Black season 2. MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT!
Hello everyone! Yes, I’m late, sorry. But you can’t write a review without having watched the last episode of the season, can you? Oh, yeah, it’s another TV review post, but I figured that it’s been a while since my laste one, so it’s okay. MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT! Have fun!
Hello everyone! Sorry for being so lazy the past two weeks (? I lost track). Also sorry for writing so many reviews these days even though the blog is actually supposed to host my fiction – day job is keeping me from writing creative stuff. Also, Netflix keeps me from sitting down and writing.
Which brings us to today’s review-thingy: Orange is the new black season 1! Because Germany finally got Netflix (geez, guys, why on earth did it take you sooo long?)! And I’m spending way too much time with it! Enough with the advertising! SPOILERS GALORE!
