NaPoWriMo Day 5: “TableTop Day”

My first blog post from the WordPress app! Please forgive any formatting weirdness…

Okay, so NaPoWriMo‘s challenge today was to write a “golden shovel” where the last word in every line is actually a word-by-word quote of another poem. Which doesn’t really work with haiku, at least I’m not aware of a three-word poem.

So I took a different path and decided to honor today’s International TableTop Day. Let’s join Wil Wheaton and play more games! (and watch his show on Geek&Sundry)

TableTop Day

Spread between us three
A board with cards and a dice
The loser’s couch waits
